The South Wairarapa Practice Partnership—formed through the amalgamation of Featherston Medical, Greytown Medical, and Martinborough Medical Centre, has officially launched its new name and brand: Wairarapa Medical.

This rebranding marks a significant milestone in the journey to unify the three practices. It follows the successful integration of a shared Patient Management System and the establishment of cohesive governance and management structures across all sites.

“It’s really exciting to see the new brand come to life,” says Business Manager Neill Carson

“Any amalgamation takes time, and our interim name was quite a mouthful. We wanted something that truly reflects and connects with our communities. This new identity is a beautiful step forward, and I’m looking forward to seeing it rolled out across our sites and embraced by the people we serve.”

The new logo and colour palette are inspired by the local landscape—symbolising the connection between the mountains, land, and lake. The name connects the practice to the area is looks after.

“With the brand now approved and rolling out, patients will start to notice updated signage and imagery across our three locations. However, nothing changes in terms of how you book or attend appointments, please continue to contact us as you always have.”

Wairarapa Medical now has it’s own website where patients are able to find out more about the practice, order repeat prescriptions and, for those not enrolled, can complete an EOI to enrol in the practice. There are also new Wairarapa Medical social media pages.

“We will continue to gradually roll out the brand across the sites and will keep our community updated as this happens” concludes Mr Carson.
